Bitrace Honoured with Dual Recognitions at the Cyber Security Professional Awards 2025
The award presentation ceremony of the Cyber Security Professional Awards 2025, organised by the Hong Kong Police Force and co-organised by the Digital Policy Office and the Hong Kong Productivity Council, was held on 30 January. The ceremony recognised individuals and organisations that have made outstanding contributions to cybersecurity, in acknowledgement of their achievements in strengthening Hong Kong’s overall cyber defence capabilities.

In his address at the ceremony, Commissioner of Police Mr CHOW Yat-ming noted that cybersecurity is not merely an information technology issue, but one that directly affects social operations, economic development, and even national security. A robust, reliable, and highly resilient cybersecurity environment is a fundamental condition for supporting the sustainable development of innovation and technology, smart cities, and the digital economy.

At the award ceremony, Bitrace was honoured with the “Cyber Security Excellence Contribution Award”, in recognition of its long-term commitment and sustained technological practice in the areas of blockchain security, crypto asset anti-money laundering (AML), and on-chain risk monitoring. The award affirms Bitrace’s tangible contributions in assisting with the identification and tracing of high-risk on-chain funds, supporting law enforcement agencies in combating technology-enabled and crypto-related crimes, and strengthening digital financial security infrastructure through technological innovation. By integrating advanced on-chain analytics with compliance frameworks, Bitrace continues to deliver practical and scalable risk control solutions for the public sector and the industry, contributing to enhanced cybersecurity resilience and financial system stability.

Bitrace Chief Executive Officer Isabel Shi has also been invited on multiple occasions to conduct specialised training sessions on crypto-related crime and anti-money laundering for law enforcement officers and professional teams, helping frontline personnel better understand and respond to emerging crypto crime patterns and on-chain risks.
In addition, Isabel Shi received individual recognition under the “Cyber Security Startups & SME” sector of the Awards, acknowledging her professional leadership and long-term impact in advancing cybersecurity capabilities among small and medium-sized enterprises, promoting the adoption of compliance technologies, and enhancing industry-wide risk awareness.
